Stephanie Burks, as an art therapist and mental health counselor, works with individuals who have experienced trauma and sexual assault. She also volunteers at the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center as a medical advocate, where she supports survivors of sexual assault in the emergency room. Read More...
Healing Through Process: A training on sexual assault and exploitation.
In this group process, professionals will:
- Gain knowledge and an understanding of sexual assault and exploitation
- Explore their thoughts, judgments and biases around the subject matter
- Learn therapeutic interventions when working with this population.
The training will meet every Thursday from February 6-April 10, 2014 from 6pm-9pm
